Another issue that came up in my book No Easy Answer was the Judaical system. In the book after Eric and Dylan the two killers kill themselves. The police start looking for reasons why they committed this massacre. When they searched Eric's room they found a journal. In the Journal it talked about their plot and also places were they bought their weapons. Three people helped them Philip who worked at the pizza place with them, Mark who got them the tech-9, and Dylan's girl friend Robyn who got them the shotguns. Philip and Mark that both help Dylan and Eric get the tech-9s were sent to jail for six years and Robyn didn't get anything as it said in the book. "Robyn admitted that she given Eric and Dylan the weapons they needed to slaughter the class of 1999. did she face charges like Mark and Philip did? No. not one. To this day, Robyn has never been charged with anything. Mark provided Eric and Dylan with one weapon, and he's in jail until 2005. Robyn got them three guns, and shes at home. funny how our system works."(pg:162) I agree with Brooks it doesn't make sense's that Mark and Philip get charged and Robyn gets to walk. They should all be charged for their crimes. i mean i would understand if she was forced top buy the weapons but she was not she did it on her own free well. If anything Mark and Philip should be let of but they still committed a crime. With guns there is zero tolerance they should all be put in jail for man slaughter.

I definitely agree with everything you have said in this post. Every person involved in this massacre should be punished. If this woman provided three guns to these boys and they ended up using these as weapons of mass murder on other teenagers, how has she gotten off the hook so easily. I would like to think that there must be a justifiable reason why she was not charged or put in prison for her crimes, but from what you said in this post, I am convinced that it was simply a fail on the court's part. There have been far too many incidents when the justice system fails to actually bring justice to our society. Rapists are ruled innocent and set free everyday. Murderers are let out of jail after only a few years. People sell drugs and deadly weapons to teenagers are let loose on the streets with no consequences. Is this fair? No. Is this understandable and justifiable? No. But does it continue to happen day after day? Absolutely. What I want to know, is what the government is trying to do to solve this issue and if the justice system will ever actually bring real justice to these criminals?
